Responsible Artificial Intelligence on the Islands\u201d has been selected for the 9th cycle of the Points of Support Program, with the support of the Athina I. Martinou Foundation.<\/p><p>At the launch meeting of the 9th cycle, we met the foundations and the organisations taking part this year. The Program is a joint initiative of eight philanthropic foundations. It supports original small-scale projects with social impact for vulnerable groups, and builds the capacity of the civil society organisations that run them.<\/p><h2>What we will do<\/h2><p>The project belongs to the pillar \u201cStrengthening Island and Other Coastal Local Communities\u201d and runs from October 2026 to May 2027. It works with 60 secondary school students and 8 teachers in South Naxos and the Small Cyclades (Iraklia, Schinoussa, Koufonissia, Donoussa).<\/p><ul><li>An open educational toolkit in Greek on digital ethics and the responsible use of artificial intelligence<\/li><li>Train-the-trainers sessions for teachers<\/li><li>Interactive workshops in the island schools<\/li><li>AI Ethics Challenges: team mini-projects by the students<\/li><li>Student Ambassadors who pass on what they learned to their classmates<\/li><\/ul><p>We thank the Athina I.
